About snowboarding
What is snowboarding?
Do you like surfing but live a long way from the sea and close to a ski resort? Are surf and snow both your thing? Then snowboarding is your sport. You get the feel of surfing while sliding down snow, and it is easier to pick up because bindings keep your feet on the board.
Surfing far from any wave is possible if you take up the sport everyone is doing at ski resorts. It is like skiing but on a single board: both feet are strapped in together and you ride sideways.
