Every activity that could come up
Forty-two activities across three levels of adrenaline. You choose the level; we choose the activity, and you do not find out which one until between 48 and 24 hours before.
Go Yellow: group activities
This is the calm end of the catalogue: plans for a different afternoon with friends, a partner or the family, where nobody ends up with their heart in their mouth. Games, nature and gentle sport.
It works best with big groups and mixed ages, because it asks for no fitness and no experience. Twelve possible activities, and you will not know which one until the end.
Go Orange: activities in nature
The middle ground, and the level most people pick. Real adventure sport — water, mountain, a decent shot of adrenaline — but with no need to have done it before: there is always a qualified instructor and the kit is included.
Seventeen possible activities: this is where the surprise has the most room to move.

No half measures here. Activities you still talk about years later and that cannot be improvised, which is why they need the most notice and depend the most on the weather.
Thirteen possible activities, some with specific requirements that we tell you about before anything is confirmed.
Why the Basque Country
The reason this catalogue is so long is the geography: open Atlantic coast, mountains half an hour from any of the three capitals, and rivers with water almost all year. Every activity is run by a local operator we have worked with for years, not by a middleman.
Most of our adventures start in Bilbao, San Sebastián or Vitoria-Gasteiz.
And outside the Basque Country too
The catalogue above is the Basque one, where we started and where we have the most partners. The surprise adventure also travels: you pick the city, tell us where you fly from, and we set the plan up there with a local partner.
Before booking, have a look at the terms and conditions: they walk through the purchase step by step, what the price covers in the Basque Country and at each destination, and what happens if you need to change the date or cancel.
Shall we leave it to chance?
You pick the level and the day. The rest you find out between 48 and 24 hours before.
