What is karting?
Is your thing speed, late braking and burning rubber? Then we have the one for you: karting. It is as close as most of us get to driving a Formula 1 car. Race each other on a closed, controlled circuit, with the adrenaline and the company doing the rest.
A good fit for birthdays and stag or hen dos. Designed for groups. Ask us about availability for under-18s.

This one runs all year round: indoor circuits for the winter and outdoor ones when the weather is better.
When karting was invented
Did you know that karting started on an air base? It was 1956, in California. Some off-duty servicemen were bored and decided to build themselves something they could race around the runways of the base. They used aircraft scrap to make a sort of car, which they called a go-kart. By the 1960s they had reached Europe, where they took off.
On the official website of the Royal Spanish Motorsport Federation (RFEDA) you can look up the rules for kart racing. As well as the regulations in force you will find the federation structure, a press area, the competition calendar, standings, licences and insurance which all matter in a sport like this. The Spanish kart championship is covered there too.
