The team at GoRandom have won the Baldosa de Bilbao. Yes, really: theBilbao paving stone, the unmistakable symbol of the capital of Bizkaia. We did not simply walk off with it: the award comes from Bilbao City Council and its Bilbao Emprende ceremony, which exists to recognise the people bold enough to start something in the city.
GoRandom is one of the thousands of companies founded in Bilbao during 2019, so we are proud to have this on the shelf (next to the Think Big award from the UPV/EHU and Zitek, which we wrote about a few months ago).
We back the council in its aim of drawing attention to the people whose nerve and persistence put Bilbao on the map and make it an interesting city, with a varied workforce and an appetite that grows year on year.
At GoRandom we are quite clear that growth comes from a great many small steps, so we keep going, without hurrying and without stopping.
