About paragliding
What is paragliding?
Flying is for the few who are willing to take the wind on. Here, with your paraglider and an expert instructor, you get the best of the Basque coast or mountains from above. The adrenaline is guaranteed in something this special.
This is an individual activity and only for over-18s. No previous experience is needed, but the weather at the start time is taken into account to keep everyone safe and make sure the flight goes well.

This kind of activity runs from March to October, because it depends on the weather to be run properly.
How fast a paraglider goes
Did you know that a paraglider can reach 60 km/h? In competition they have gone faster than that, though on a recreational flight the speed sits between a maximum of around 50 km/h and a minimum of about 24 km/h.
Worth knowing: what these wings actually do in flight is a constant descent. They have no power of their own and depend entirely on air currents to stay up.
You can launch a paraglider almost anywhere, which means remarkable views, using mountains and slopes — an experience that is hard to beat.
