This one in Bilbao is the opposite of Catalepsia: it is built for numbers. Up to 10 people can play, though not entirely as a team, since you are competing against five of them. There are two rooms, one per group, so getting out before the clock runs down is only half the problem — you also have to beat the other five.
The most original premise: Sala After Party
You and your friends wake up in a flat with a serious hangover after a night out in Barcelona. Predictably, none of you remembers anything. The group has to reassemble the night in under an hour to get out.
For anyone who likes mythology and history: Mitologik
Mitologik is built for anyone curious about Basque mythology and culture. The setting is unlike anything else and the clues are genuinely inventive. It is in San Sebastián and it keeps drawing more players. Basques rediscover their own culture; visitors get at the parts of it that do not make the guidebooks.

In the Netflix era, escape rooms have kept up with what people are watching. The first Harry Potter rooms appeared some time ago, but the title conquering both the small screen and the escape rooms is Money Heist. One of the most visited rooms based on it is in Madrid.
